- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 (24 ounce) package frozen potatoes o'brien with onions and bell peppers
- 1 cup thick & chunky salsa
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 8 ounces shredded colby-monterey jack cheese, shredded
Recipe
- 1 in large skillet, brown beef. drain. remove meat fro skillet and keep covered set aside. in same skillet heat oil over medium heat until hot. add potatoes, cook and stir 8 -10 minutes or until browned. stir in salsa, chili powder and ground beef. cook 5-8 minutes or until heated through.sprinkle with cheese. cover and cook 4 minutes over low heat or until cheese has melted.
