Ingredients

 - 1 lb lean ground beef
 - 1 large onion, chopped
 - 2 -3 fresh minced garlic cloves (optional)
 - 2 tablespoons oil
 - 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
 - 1 cup water
 - 1 teaspoon seasoning salt, to taste
 - pepper
 - 1 teaspoon mustard powder or 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
 - 1 teaspoon chili powder
 - 1/4 cup sweet pickle relish
 - 1 1/2 cups flour
 - 2 teaspoons baking powder
 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
 - 2 tablespoons oil
 - 2 tablespoons melted butter or 1/4 cup of only oil
 - 1/2 cup milk
 
Recipe
- set oven to 425°f.
 - in a fry pan, brown beef with onion and garlic (if using); drain.
 - add remaining 7 ingredients.
 - bring to a light simmer; cook for 2 minutes.
 - place the mixture in a greased 2-qt casserole dish.
 - in a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt.
 - in another small bowl, combine the oil, butter (or just oil if using) and milk.
 - add to the dry flour ingredients; blend well.
 - spoon over the ground beef mixture.
 - bake for 20-25 minutes.
 

This recipe is a little confusing at first the way it is set up here. Says to brown meat , onion and garlic then after simmering at remaining 7 ingredients. There is 8 remaining ingredients. Separating the steps under list of ingredients would help that. But very good finished product. Thanx
