Soy Sauce Substitute

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium beef bouillon cubes
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil or 1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1 dash mustard powder
  • 1 dash black pepper

Recipe

  • 1 in bowl combine first 2 ingredients stirring to dissolve bouillon. stir in remaining ingredients.
  • 2 use in recipe calling for soy sauce. store in refrigerator up to 6 months in tightly covered jar. stir thoroughly and let come to room temperature before using.
