Tex-mex Hash

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 3 cups frozen o'brien hash browns
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 4 ounces colby-monterey jack cheese, blend

Recipe

  • 1 in skillet, brown beef.
  • 2 remove ffrom skillet and cover to keep warm.
  • 3 drain.
  • 4 in same skillet, heat oil over medium heat until hot.
  • 5 add potatoes.
  • 6 cook and stir 8 to 10 minutes.
  • 7 stir in salsa, chili powder and ground beef.
  • 8 cook 5 to 8 minutes or until thoroughly heated, stirring occasionally.
  • 9 sprinkle with cheese.
  • 10 cover,cook 2 to 4 minutes.
