Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Recipe
- 1 melt butter in small saucepan and whisk in flour; whisk constantly for 1 minute.
- 2 gradually whisk in broth and tomato sauce, reduce heat and simmer until thickened.
- 3 whisk in salt and pepper.
