Taco Casserole

Ingredients

- 1 lb ground round
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup tomato juice
- 1 -2 tablespoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
- 1 (15 1/2 ounce) can kidney beans
- 1 (8 ounce) bag corn chips
- 2 cups shredded lettuce
- 1 large tomato, chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350.
- 2 grease 2 qt square baking dish.
- 3 in large skillet brown the meat, onion and garlic.
- 4 drain.
- 5 stir in tomato sauce, juice, chili powder and oregano.
- 6 place meat in baking dish.
- 7 top with beans.
- 8 top with corn chips.
- 9 cover and bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
- 10 before serving, sprinkle with lettuce, tomato and chopped onion.
