Ingredients

- 1 lb xtra firm tofu, drained and patted dry with paper towel
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup wheat bran
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 2 tablespoons cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil and thyme
- 3 -4 tablespoons beef-like seasoning
- 1 tablespoon liquid, amino
- 2 -3 tablespoons pimentos, jar, canned, fresh
Recipe
- 1 mix all ingredients together in a food procesor, no particular order to add ingredients.
- 2 mix until it becomes a little solid, it should still be a little moist and pliable.
- 3 scoop out some of the mixture and shape into 4 to 6" round patties 1/8 - 1/4" thick.
- 4 spray pan with a litle vegetable oil and fry until golden brown.
- 5 this will make 6 to 8 patties which can be frozen either already fried or un-fried, if fried all you need to do is microwave them, if not then you will have to fry them before eating.
- 6 this is a very easy and "super" tasting vege burger.
