The Best Vege Burger In The World

Total Time: 14 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 4 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 lb xtra firm tofu, drained and patted dry with paper towel
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup wheat bran
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 2 tablespoons cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil and thyme
  • 3 -4 tablespoons beef-like seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon liquid, amino
  • 2 -3 tablespoons pimentos, jar, canned, fresh

Recipe

  • 1 mix all ingredients together in a food procesor, no particular order to add ingredients.
  • 2 mix until it becomes a little solid, it should still be a little moist and pliable.
  • 3 scoop out some of the mixture and shape into 4 to 6" round patties 1/8 - 1/4" thick.
  • 4 spray pan with a litle vegetable oil and fry until golden brown.
  • 5 this will make 6 to 8 patties which can be frozen either already fried or un-fried, if fried all you need to do is microwave them, if not then you will have to fry them before eating.
  • 6 this is a very easy and "super" tasting vege burger.
