Southwest Casserole

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 lb ground beef or 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • pepper, to taste
  • 4 slices crumbled bacon
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can campbell southwest-style pepper jack soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded colby-monterey jack cheese
  • 1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls

Recipe

  • 1 pre-heat oven 350 degrees.
  • 2 in large skillet brown beef add onions and garlic with meat and pepper,to taste and drain.
  • 3 add bacon, soup, and milk, mix well until bubbly.
  • 4 add 1/2 cup of cheese and stir until melted.
  • 5 press cresent rolls into bottom of a 9x13 greased pan to form a crust.
  • 6 pour mixture over crust and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  • 7 cover with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes or until crust is brown.
