Short Ribs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 1/2-3 lbs beef short ribs
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 cup onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

Recipe

  • 1 dredge ribs in flour, salt and pepper. fry in oil.
  • 2 fry onions and garlic in oil.
  • 3 combine water, bay leaf, brown sugar, vinegar, and soy sauce. pour over ribs, cover and bake 2 1/2 hours.
