Taco Rubbed Flank Steak

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano, crumbled
- 1/2-1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 medium lime
- 2 lbs flank steaks, all visible fat removed
Recipe
- 1 preheat grill on high or preheat broiler.
- 2 for rub, in a small bowl, combine chili powder, cumin, oregano, cayenne, salt, and sugar.
- 3 squeeze lime over steak and rub juice into meat.
- 4 rub with chili-powder mixture to coat completely.
- 5 grill steak or broil 5-6 inches from heat until desired doneness (about 5 minutes on each side for medium-rare to 15 minutes per side for well-done).
