The Bomb Burgers

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 5
  • 1 lb lean hamburger
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (fine)
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onion
  • 3 teaspoons chopped coriander
  • 2 teaspoons hoisin sauce
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons minced gingerroot
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons water
  • 2 teaspoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

Recipe

  • 1 in a bowl combine beef, bread crumbs, green onions, coriander, hoisin sauce, garlic, ginger and egg.
  • 2 mix well.
  • 3 make 5 burgers.
  • 4 poke a hole thru the middle.
  • 5 in a small bowl mix together water, hoisin, and sesame oil.
  • 6 place burgers on a hot grill and brush the top with the previous mixture.
  • 7 flip after 7 min or so and baste the other side.
  • 8 serve with condiments of choice.
