Stuffed Manicotti

Ingredients

  • Servings: 3
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 2 cups spaghetti sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 0.5 (225 g) package manicotti

Recipe

  • 1 combine ground beef, onion, and garlic. fry until ground beef is no longer pink. remove from heat.
  • 2 combine 1 cup cheese, eggs, salt, and italian seasoning. add to the ground beef mixture and mix well.
  • 3 cook manicotti according to directions on box and set aside. (1/2 pkg. is 6 manicotti).
  • 4 stuff meat mixture into the cooked manicotti.
  • 5 spread a small amount of the sauce on the bottom of a 9" x 13" baking dish. put stuffed manicotti in dish. pour spaghetti sauce over them. sprinkle with remaining 1 cup cheese.
  • 6 cover with foil.
  • 7 bake in a preheated 375f oven for 20 minutes.
  • 8 remove foil and bake 5-10 minutes more to brown top.
