Stuffed Manicotti

Ingredients

- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 2 cups spaghetti sauce
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
- 0.5 (225 g) package manicotti
Recipe
- 1 combine ground beef, onion, and garlic. fry until ground beef is no longer pink. remove from heat.
- 2 combine 1 cup cheese, eggs, salt, and italian seasoning. add to the ground beef mixture and mix well.
- 3 cook manicotti according to directions on box and set aside. (1/2 pkg. is 6 manicotti).
- 4 stuff meat mixture into the cooked manicotti.
- 5 spread a small amount of the sauce on the bottom of a 9" x 13" baking dish. put stuffed manicotti in dish. pour spaghetti sauce over them. sprinkle with remaining 1 cup cheese.
- 6 cover with foil.
- 7 bake in a preheated 375f oven for 20 minutes.
- 8 remove foil and bake 5-10 minutes more to brown top.
