Taco Pizza Casserole

Ingredients

• 8 ounces corn muffin mix
• 1 1/4 ounces taco seasoning
• 1 lb ground beef, browned, drained
• 1/2 cup salsa
• 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Recipe

• 1 prepare corn muffin mix according to pkg directions --
• 2 spread in a greased 8x8" baking pan --
• 3 bake at 400* for 6-8 minutes.
• 4 blend 1/2 pkg of taco seasoning mix into beef, reserving remaining mix for another recipe --
• 5 add any additional ingredients, according to.
• 6 taco seasoning mix directions -- reducing each by half --
• 7 remove cornbread from oven and spread with taco sauce --
• 8 top with beef mixture and cheese.
• 9 return to oven, continue baking 15 minutes -- longer or until cheese is melted.
• 10 let stand 2-3 minutes, cut into squares to serve.
• 11 garnish as desired.
