Saucy Penne And Three Cheese Bake

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb penne, cooked
  • 1/2 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 (26 ounce) jar classico spicy tomato and pesto pasta sauce
  • 15 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350*f.
  • 2 in saucepan, over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned; pour off fat.
  • 3 add pasta sauce.
  • 4 in medium bowl, combine ricotta cheese, 1 cup mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, and egg.
  • 5 in lightly greased 2-1/2 quart baking dish, layer half the penne, sauce mixture, and cheese mixture.
  • 6 repeat layers.
  • 7 sprinkle remaining mozzarella cheese over top.
  • 8 bake 35 to 40 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
