Ingredients

- 1 lb penne, cooked
- 1/2 lb lean ground beef
- 1 (26 ounce) jar classico spicy tomato and pesto pasta sauce
- 15 ounces ricotta cheese
- 8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350*f.
- 2 in saucepan, over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned; pour off fat.
- 3 add pasta sauce.
- 4 in medium bowl, combine ricotta cheese, 1 cup mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, and egg.
- 5 in lightly greased 2-1/2 quart baking dish, layer half the penne, sauce mixture, and cheese mixture.
- 6 repeat layers.
- 7 sprinkle remaining mozzarella cheese over top.
- 8 bake 35 to 40 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
