Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup diced green pepper
- 1 medium onion
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 2 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can tomato puree
- 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 16 ounces water
Recipe
- 1 heat oil and brown the ground beef. once beef is browned add chopped onion, green pepper and garlic. saute until soft. add all the remianing ingredients, cover and simmer for 2 hours. if sauce gets too thick add a little more water to thin it out.
