Spinach Meat Roll

Ingredients

- 300 g extra lean ground beef
- 1 ounce egg , beaten
- 1 tablespoon skim milk
- 1 tablespoon dry breadcrumbs
- 1/4 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon mrs. dash seasoning mix, original blend
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper, freshly ground
- 8 spinach leaves, approx
Recipe
- 1 mix all ingredients except spinach in bowl; turn onto sheet of wax paper or foil.
- 2 shape into rectangle 12 x 10 inches.
- 3 arrange spinach leaves evenly on meat leaving 1/2 inch margin around edges.
- 4 carefully roll up meat, beginning at narrow side and using paper to lift meat.
- 5 press edges and ends of roll to seal.
- 6 place in baking dish on middle rack of oven.
- 7 bake uncovered at 350°f for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
- 8 remove from oven and let stand for 2 minutes before slicing.
