Salisbury Meatballs With Caramelized Onions

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 large sweet onions, halved and thinly sliced (walla walla)
  • 1 -2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 (16 ounce) package frozen cooked meatballs, thawed
  • 1 (12 ounce) jar mushroom beef gravy

Recipe

  • 1 in a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  • 2 add onions and brown sugar to the skillet; saute and stir frequently for 15-20-30 minutes or until onions are golden brown and caramelized.
  • 3 add meatballs and gravy; stir to combine.
  • 4 cover and cook 5-8 minutes or until meatballs are well heated; stir as needed.
