Taverns

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/8 cup vinegar, slightly less than
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 in a medium skillet, brown ground beef until no longer pink, drain fat.
  • 2 over medium heat add additional ingredients to ground beef.
  • 3 simmer a minimum of 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • 4 serve on buns.
