Tater Tots -topped Casserole

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/3 cup sliced celery
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of celery soup, undiluted
  • 0.5 (32 ounce) package frozen tater tots
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Recipe

  • 1 in a skillet, cook onion, celery and ground beef over medium heat until the meat is no longer pink and the vegetables are tender; drain.
  • 2 stir in salt and pepper.
  • 3 spoon mixture into a greased 12 inch by 8 inch by 2 inch baking dish. spread soup over meat mixture.
  • 4 top with tater tots.
  • 5 bake at 400° for 40 minutes or until bubbly.
  • 6 sprinkle with cheese; bake 5 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.
