Southwestern Sausage Drop Biscuits

Ingredients
- 1 lb bulk lamb, beef or 1 lb venison sausage
- 1 cup chopped green onion
- 3 cups baking mix
- 1 cup milk
- 1 1/4 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1 cup well drained diced canned tomato
- 1 dash cayenne pepper
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350.
- 2 crumble and cook sausage in medium skillet over medium heat until cooked through and browned.
- 3 remove sausage and drain well on several layers of paper towels.
- 4 in a large bowl, combine cooked sausage and remaining ingredients; mix well to form a dough.
- 5 shape dough into 2" balls and place on a ungreased, foil lined baking sheet.
- 6 bake for 12 minutes, or until golden brown.
- 7 serve warm. makes 2 dozen small biscuits.
