Tater Tot Casserole, Version 9,958

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 lb extra lean ground beef
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 onion, minced
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of celery soup
  • 10 3/4 ounces milk (i.e., one of the soup cans)
  • frozen green beans (eyeball the amount)
  • 1 cup 2% cheddar cheese
  • 1 (32 ounce) package tater tots
  • garlic powder
  • french's french fried onions

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375°f.
  • 2 meanwhile, brown the ground beef, garlic, and onion in a skillet over medium-high heat; drain grease.
  • 3 spread the cooked hamburger in the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • 4 in a bowl, stir together the soups, milk, and green beans.
  • 5 pour the soup mixture over the beef and then sprinkle with cheese.
  • 6 top with tater tots and sprinkle on some garlic powder.
  • 7 bake uncovered for 30 minutes.
  • 8 top with some french’s french fried onions, and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes or until onions are browned.
