Tangy Beef Steaks

Ingredients
- 4 (1/2 inch) thick beef steaks
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 2 celery ribs, chopped
- 1 large green pepper, sliced
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 beef bouillon cube
Recipe
- 1 brown steaks lightly in skillet, and sprinkle with salt, and pepper.
- 2 in another pan,saute onions, celery, and pepper, and add to steak pan.
- 3 combine ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, worcestershire, lemon juice, and bouillon, and pour over vegetables.
- 4 cover, and cook for 15-20 minutes.
- 5 serve over rice.
