Swedish Meatballs

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • 6 cups day-old bread, wet
  • 1 lb ground veal
  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 3 cups onions, chopped
  • 4 tablespoons parmesan cheese
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 3/4 teaspoon marjoram
  • 3 beaten eggs
  • 2 tablespoons parsley
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375°f.
  • 2 break up bread, soak in water and squeeze out.
  • 3 in a large bowl mix all above ingredients well.
  • 4 on a large flat cookie tray.
  • 5 from above ingredients, roll out dollar size meat balls.
  • 6 be sure not to touch each other.
  • 7 place in oven and cook for 25 minutes per tray, turning meat balls half way.
  • 8 place on paper towel to cool.
  • 9 makes about 120 balls.
  • 10 place cooled meatballs in air tight zip lock bags and freeze.
