Spanish Noodles

Ingredients

- 2 slices bacon
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 (28 ounce) can tomatoes
- 1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash pepper
- 4 ounces uncooked noodles (shells, macaroni, etc.)
Recipe
- 1 fry bacon slices until crisp.
- 2 drain.
- 3 reserve drippings.
- 4 crumble bacon and set aside.
- 5 to dripping in frying pan, add chopped onion.
- 6 cook until tender.
- 7 add ground beef.
- 8 cook and stir until done.
- 9 stir in canned tomatoes, cut up, and their juice, green pepper, ketchup, salt, and pepper.
- 10 stir in noodles.
- 11 bring to a boil.
- 12 reduce heat to simmer, and cook for 30 minutes or until noodles are tender, stirring frequently.
- 13 stir in bacon.
