Spaghetti With An Attitude

Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup soft breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 1/2 lb italian sausage, chopped
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
- 2 (28 ounce) cans whole tomatoes, drained and chopped
- 2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
- 1 (14 ounce) can beef broth
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 2 teaspoons basil
- 2 teaspoons oregano
- 1 teaspoon rosemary
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- salt and pepper
- hot cooked spaghetti
- fresh, grated parmesan cheese
Recipe
- 1 mix well first 7 ingredients.
- 2 form into small balls.
- 3 brown in dutch oven over med.
- 4 heat.
- 5 drain and set aside.
- 6 in same pan, cook sausage, onion and green pepper until vegetables are soft.
- 7 add remaining ingredients.
- 8 add meatballs.
- 9 bring to a boil.
- 10 reduce heat, cover and simmer for 2 hours.
- 11 serve over spaghetti, sprinkle with parmesan.
