Tunisia: Beef Meatballs (kefta De Boeuf)

Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 6 sprigs parsley, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons gruyere cheese, grated
- 2 teaspoons ground coriander
- 2 teaspoons harissa (tunisia)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 medium egg yolks
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup mashed potatoes
- 1/4 cup olive oil
Recipe
- 1 directions mix everything together, except the oil. form into 10 meatballs. heat oil in a skillet and brown the balls on all sides for about 5 minutes. drain on paper towels. serve over rice or couscous or can be served as an appetizer.
