Toasty Cheese Bake

Ingredients

• 8 slices bread
• margarine
• 1/2 lb ground beef
• 1/4 cup onion, chopped
• 2 tablespoons celery, chopped
• 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup sharp american cheese, shredded
• 1 egg, slightly beaten
• 3/4 cup milk
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 dash pepper
• 1/8 teaspoon dry mustard

Recipe

• 1 heat oven to 350 degrees.
• 2 toast bread; butter both sides.
• 3 cook and stir meat, onion, celery, prepared mustard and 1/2 teasooon salt until meat is brown and onion is tender.
• 4 alternate layers of toast, meat mixture and cheese in greased baking pan.
• 5 mix remaining ingredients; pour over layers in pan.
• 6 bake uncovered 30 to 35 minutes.
• 7 add paprika on top if you desire.
