Tex Mex Burgers

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 3 large poblano peppers
- 1 1/2 lbs ground chuck
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped onions
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 lb monterey jack cheese, sliced
- salsa
- 4 kaiser rolls
Recipe
- 1 heat broiler, broil chilis on foil 12 minutes, turning until lightly charred.
- 2 wrap up foil and let stand 5 minutes.
- 3 mix beef with next 4 ingredients; shape into 4 patties.
- 4 broil patties 6-7 minutes per side or until desired doneness.
- 5 top with cheese,remove from heat.
- 6 cover and let set until cheese is melted (1-2 minutes).
- 7 remove skin from chilis, seed, and cut in strips.
- 8 put burgers on rolls, top with chilis and salsa.
