Tangy Meatballs

Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups quick-cooking oats
- 1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3 lbs lean ground beef
- 2 cups ketchup
- 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 -2 teaspoon liquid smoke
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Recipe
- 1 in large bowl, beat eggs. add oats, milk, onion, salt and pepper, and garlic powder. add ground beef and mix well. shape into 1-1/2 inch balls. place in two 9"x13" baking pans. bake uncovered at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
- 2 remove from oven and drain off grease. place all meatballs in one pan.
- 3 in a saucepan, bring the sauce ingredients.
- 4 to a boil.
- 5 pour over meatballs. return to oven and bake uncovered for 20 minutes.
