Tangy Lamb Chops

Ingredients

- 4 lamb chops, 1/2 inch thick
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 2 celery ribs, chopped
- 1 large green pepper, sliced
- 1 (14 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- hot cooked rice (optional)
Recipe
- 1 place chops in slow cooker.
- 2 sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- 3 add onions, celery, green pepper and tomatoes.
- 4 combine ketchup, vinegar, worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, bouillon and sugar.
- 5 pour over vegetables.
- 6 cover and cook low 5-6 hours
- 7 mix cornstarch and water til smooth.
- 8 stir into liquid in slow cooker.
- 9 cover and cook on high 30 minutes til thickened.
- 10 serve over rice if desired.
