Trick-or-treat Turnovers

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 1/2 lb lean ground beef
- 1 tablespoon onion, finely chopped
- 4 ounces mozzarella cheese, cubed
- 1/4 teaspoon prepared mustard
- 2 (16 1/3 ounce) containers ready-to-bake refrigerated buttermilk flaky biscuits
- 1/4 cup egg
Recipe
- 1 cook beef and onion over medium heat in large skillet.
- 2 drain excess fat.
- 3 add cheese and mustard and cook until cheese is melted.
- 4 cool slightly.
- 5 flatten each biscuit into a 4 inch circle.
- 6 please four biscuits in each of 2 greased 15x10x1 baking pans.
- 7 spoon 2 tablespoons of meat mixture onto each.
- 8 cut out jack-o-lantern faces from the remaining biscuits using a knife or cookie cutters.
- 9 place over the meat mixture and pinch the edges to seal.
- 10 reroll scraps and cut out stems for pumpkins.
- 11 brush with egg.
- 12 bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
