Teriyaki Strips

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 lbs top round beef, partially frozen
  • 1/2 cup peanut oil (or other oil)
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup dry sherry
  • 1 tablespoon freshly grated gingerroot
  • 1 small garlic clove, minced

Recipe

  • 1 cut beef cross-wise into thin strips.
  • 2 combine remaining ingredients in shallow dish.
  • 3 add beef strips and marinate 2 to 3 hours.
  • 4 place beef strips accordion style on bamboo sticks or metal skewers.
  • 5 grill or broil.
