Teriyaki Beef Skewers

Total Time: 37 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 7 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3/4 lb beef round tip steaks or 3/4 lb any other lean and tender cut beef
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons grated gingerroot
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

Recipe

  • 1 heat grill.
  • 2 cut steaks into 1 inch wide strips.
  • 3 place strips in shallow dish or resealable plastic bag.
  • 4 in a small bowl, combine all remaining ingredients; mix well.
  • 5 pour over strips; toss to coat well.
  • 6 cover dish or seal bag; let stand at room temperature for 15 to 30 minutes to marinate.
  • 7 when ready to grill, remove steaks from marinade; discard marinade.
  • 8 thread steak strips onto 4 10 to 12 inch oiled metal skewers.
