Teriyaki Beef Skewers

Ingredients

- 3/4 lb beef round tip steaks or 3/4 lb any other lean and tender cut beef
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 1/2 teaspoons grated gingerroot
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
Recipe
- 1 heat grill.
- 2 cut steaks into 1 inch wide strips.
- 3 place strips in shallow dish or resealable plastic bag.
- 4 in a small bowl, combine all remaining ingredients; mix well.
- 5 pour over strips; toss to coat well.
- 6 cover dish or seal bag; let stand at room temperature for 15 to 30 minutes to marinate.
- 7 when ready to grill, remove steaks from marinade; discard marinade.
- 8 thread steak strips onto 4 10 to 12 inch oiled metal skewers.
- 9 place on grill and cook 5 to 7 minutes or until desired doneness, turning once.
