Tangy Meatloaf

Ingredients

- 1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 4 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons chopped green peppers
- 3/4 cup crushed wheat chex
Recipe
- 1 combine ketchup, brown sugar, dry mustard.
- 2 remove and reserve 4 tablespoons for topping.
- 3 to remaining ketchup mixture, add worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion, salt, pepper and egg.
- 4 blend well; then add green pepper and wheat chex.
- 5 add ground beef and mix well.
- 6 shape into loaf in shallow pan.
- 7 bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
- 8 pour reserved 4 tbsp.
- 9 of topping over meatloaf and bake 15 minutes longer.
