Tender Flank Steak Taste Of Home

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 cup reduced sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 (1 -1 1/2 lb) beef flank steak

Recipe

  • 1 in a large resealable plastic bag, combine the soy sauce, lemon juice, honey and garlic; add steak.
  • 2 seal bag and turn to coat; refrigerate for 6-8 hours.
  • 3 drain and discard marinade.
  • 4 broil 4-6 inches from the heat or grill over medium heat for 8-10 minutes on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a meat thermometer should read 145°; medium, 160°; well-done, 170°).
  • 5 thinly slice steak across the grain.
