Swedish Meatballs

Ingredients

- 1 (24 ounce) bag frozen meatballs
- 1 cup beef stock
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 pinch allspice
- 1 pinch freshly ground nutmeg
- 1 pinch salt and pepper, to taste
Recipe
- 1 pour beef stock into a large pot and put over high heat until it comes to a boil.
- 2 meanwhile, combine cream and cornstarch, reduce heat to medium and slowly add to beef stock while stirring.
- 3 add allspice, nutmeg and salt and pepper and cook just until it begins to bubble at the edges of the pot.
- 4 add frozen meatballs, stir and cover pot. simmer covered 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. serve with egg noodles or mashed potatoes.
