Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef, round or sirloin
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 4 ounces fresh mushrooms, chopped
  • 1 small green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon basil, chopped
  • salt
  • pepper
  • grated parmesan cheese

Recipe

  • 1 pour crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, and tomato paste into large pot and put on simmer.
  • 2 while sauce simmers, brown meat and drain fat.
  • 3 add meat to sauce.
  • 4 chop onion, mushrooms, bell pepper and add to pot.
